A fire has broken out at a shop in the Palayangoda area in Payagala, Kalutara.
The Police Media Spokesman’s Office stated that the fire had started at a shop selling building materials.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that the cause of the fire was not a gas leak, police said.
The Kalutara Fire Brigade had put out the fire as soon as the incident was reported and it is reported that the shop owner was slightly injured in the fire.
