The Court of Appeal has given Litro until tomorrow (15) to inform it of the composition of a gas cylinder and the possibility of displaying it on the cylinder.
The writ petition filed by civil society activist Nathananda Kodithuwakku seeking an order to recall the gas cylinders already released to the market by Litro & Laugh was adjourned today (1).
The petition was taken up before a bench of Justices of the Court of Appeal comprising Ruwan Fernando and Sampath Wijeratne today (14).
It is reported that the panel has inquired about the composition of the gas cylinders and the possibility of displaying that composition on the cylinder and the possibility of recalling the gas cylinders that have been released to the market so far.
Accordingly, the lawyer representing Litro stated that he would inquire from his clients in this regard and give them time to present their case tomorrow.
