Ukrainian nationalist leader warns Kadyrov
Andriy Biletsky, leader of Azov, a group of Ukrainian extremist war veterans, says that if Chechen leader Ramza Kadyrov were in the Kiev region, he would be “shot dead.”
Kadyrov, Russia’s leader in the Chechen region and an ally of Russian President Vladimir Putin, has said he was in Ukraine to meet with Chechen troops fighting Russian forces.
Negotiations with Russia are ongoing
Russia’s and Ukraine’s bilateral talks have begun, and communication between the two sides is difficult but ongoing, Ukraine’s adviser and negotiator Mykhailo Podolyak said in a Twitter message a short while ago.

Ukraine calls for ‘immediate’ ceasefire in talks
Ukraine says it is calling for an immediate ceasefire and the withdrawal of Russian troops as part of a fourth round of talks to end the fighting, which has been going on for more than two weeks.
“Peace, a quick ceasefire and the withdrawal of all Russian troops – only then can we talk about regional relations and political change,” Mikhailo Podolyak, Kyiv’s chief negotiator, said in a video statement posted on Twitter.
Two killed in attack on Ukraine Antonov aircraft factory
Ukrainian authorities say two people have been killed and seven others injured in an airstrike on a Russian airstrip in Kiev. Pictures and videos of a large cloud of smoke billowing from the Antonov aeronautical plant northwest of the city have been released.
Russia has ‘killed’ 90 children since the invasion of Ukraine
Ukraine’s general prosecutor’s office says 90 children have been killed and more than 100 injured since Russia’s invasion of the country.
“The highest number of victims are in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Donetsk, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kherson, Mykolayiv and Zhytomyr,” it said in a statement.
More than 2,500 Marupol residents were killed
Presidential Adviser Oleksi Arestovich said in a televised interview that more than 2,500 residents of the Black Sea port city of Mariupol have been killed since the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
He cited figures from the Mariupol city administration, accusing Russian forces of preventing humanitarian aid from reaching the besieged city. Russia says it is not targeting civilians.
