During the tenure of former President Maithripala Sirisena, who came to power in 2015, their main slogan was to investigate fraud and corruption.
During this period, a special Presidential Commission to Investigate Fraud and Corruption was appointed under the chairmanship of the President and Lasil de Silva was appointed as its Secretary.
Mr. Lasil de Silva participated in a recent social media discussion where he revealed a lot of information about this church to the world.
He was removed from the commission at one point during the previous government, and he mentions two factors that led to his removal.

At the time, per capita income was US $ 200 in Sri Lanka, US $ 150 in India and US $ 190 in Pakistan.
In terms of foreign debt, Sri Lanka had $ 787 million, Pakistan $ 6772 million, Thailand $ 1051 million and Korea $ 8472 million.
It is noteworthy in this data review that we are now at the top of every country in the world as a developed country, but now we have fallen below all of them and become dependent on their debt.
