Rains will occur at times in the Uva Province and in the Batticaloa, Ampara, Hambantota and Nuwara Eliya districts, the Department of Meteorology said.
Rains or thunder with rains will occur at several places in the Ratnapura, Kalutara, Galle and Matara districts during the evening or night, the Department said.
Elsewhere in the island, the weather will be mainly rainless.
Foggy conditions are expected in the Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Northwestern provinces during the morning.
