The following announcement has been issued by the Meteorological Department of Sri Lanka on 26th April 2022 at 05.30 am.
Showers or thundershowers during the evening or night in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern, Uva and Northwestern provinces.
In the Western, Central and Sabaragamuwa Provinces and in some places in the Galle and Matara Districts. Heavy showers over 50.
Showers or thundershowers during the morning in coastal areas in the Western and Southern Provinces.
People are kindly requested to take necessary measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning along with thunder showers.
