Nine ministers, including former ministers, have been sworn in for Sri Lanka’s new cabinet.
1) Mr. Nimal Siripala de Silva – Ports, Shipping and Aviation Ministry
2) Susil Premajayantha – Minister of Education
3) Keheliya Rambukwella – Minister of Health
Wijayadasa Rajapaksa – Minister of Justice, Prisons and Constitutional Reforms
5) Harin Fernando – Minister of Tourism and Lands
6) Ramesh Pathirana – Minister of Plantation Industries
7) Manusha Nanayakkara – Minister of Labor and Foreign Employment
8) Nalin Ruwanjeewa Fernando – Minister of Trade, Commerce and Food Security
9) Tiran Alles – Minister of Public Defense
However, since these appointments were made with the objective of rebuilding the country, and as the country needs to be rebuilt somehow, we would like to add our congratulations to the people for listening to the people and working for the betterment of the country without making hasty decisions.
