The Human Rights Commission says that a delegation has been deployed to look into whether any human rights violations are taking place during the protest organized by the Inter University Students Federation.
Its Commissioner Dr. Nimal Karunasiri says that the relevant delegation is constantly monitoring the situation.
He also said that if there is such a violation, action will be taken against it.
We reported yesterday that such roadblocks have violated the fundamental rights of the people.
