Australia has introduced a new law making it mandatory for everyone over the age of 18 to receive the Covid vaccine.
Foreign media reported that the relevant law will come into effect from today (01).
This is considered to be the first time a European country has made vaccination against the Kovid-19 virus mandatory.
Although vaccination is mandatory for medical staff and the adult population in many countries, Australia is considered to be the first country to make vaccination compulsory for all persons over 18 years of age.
The Australian Government has stated that vaccination is effective in combating serious diseases and that the law is essential to keep the country afloat.
