South India is a hotbed of climate change as well as climate change. Today I am writing this article based on such hot news. We know very well that there is racism and racism among the South Indian people because of the occasional crackdown on the LTTE fundamentalists who are still there. But that is not what I bring to you in this article. Surrounded by hot news that took place within South India itself.
In the Udupi district in the state of Karnataka, South India, there is a problem that has caused a great deal of controversy in a high school. It is related to the suspension of 6 of its students. The main reason for this is that these 6 students objected to the order issued by the high school to remove the hijab to wear in addition to their uniform.
The reason for this opposition is that these teenagers say that male teachers come into the classroom and that according to Islamic religious principles they should act as if they are covering their hair in front of men. But the principal of this school holds a completely different view, that the school has a definite uniform and that all students are treated equally. He further said that the face-to-face communication facilitates easy communication between the teacher and the student. The principal also said that the action was taken against six of the 70 Islamic students at the school as there was a possibility of a conflict within the school.
The issue did not stop there, and began to exert pressure on various parties regarding the claim. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has seized political power in the region in particular, has been a major influence on the BJP. Commenting on this, political commentators say that the power of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is also under threat due to the issue of hijab.
However, the Indian Islamic community is of the opinion that this act was a serious offense committed at school. They say it is an insult to Islam. Due to this there were protests against the school in Udupi area and the parents of the children of that school also participated in it. One of the six students who are currently banned from classes stated that they had obtained signatures from the students at the school to agree to the ban on hijab. In India, the Muslim people, who have never fought so hard for their own people, are now fighting for their own people. That is a very serious matter and should be taken seriously. Otherwise, as a result of this process, India, like South Africa, Zimbabwe, Uganda and Pakistan, will face political, social and economic problems at home, and even helplessness in the face of international human rights issues.
