It has been named as the Global Center for Political, Economic Monitoring and Prevention in Sri Lanka. All global organizations, from the United Nations onwards, have now joined hands. Following is the press release and video released by them with all the details.
“Sri Lanka’s justice system has been severely misappropriated due to the politicization of the country. Those in politics who have used state power to defraud the public have also misused loans. Accordingly, public money and debt fraud have been the main reason for the decline of the Sri Lankan economy. Even if these financial crimes are prosecuted politically, those responsible are more likely to be acquitted due to the political pressure exerted on the judiciary and investigative agencies during the change of government. These people are investing their swindled property abroad and are preparing to flee to those countries in the face of popular uprisings. Meanwhile, businessmen close to them are also involved in all these scams and have so far absolved themselves of responsibility.
At the moment, in addition to political and financial crimes, our focus is on decades of human rights abuses and extrajudicial killings in Sri Lanka. We strongly condemn the recent spate of unlawful use of force by the unarmed civilians and express our deep displeasure over the deaths.
There are also politicians, bureaucrats, so-called religious leaders, and businessmen involved in mass crimes, including genocide and murder. At the same time, a large number of crimes have been committed due to negligence and negligence, but those responsible are still at large. In the face of the current popular uprisings, these people are fleeing the country and trying to live in safety. They also plan to break free from the shackles of the law.
The Global Center for the Monitoring and Prevention of Political and Economic Crimes in Sri Lanka, which operates outside Sri Lanka, includes suspects responsible for the above crimes, those who have been acquitted illegally under political influence and those who have been pardoned by the President for committing serious crimes in accordance with international law and internationally. An operation has been launched to bring him to account under the law. The operation is a joint operation with the United Nations and other international organizations, including the European Union and the African Union, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Australia.
In order to make this operation a success, the Global Center for Political, Economic Surveillance and Prevention in Sri Lanka urges the public to e-mail information on financial, political and other crimes. The veracity of that information will be activated after verification by lawyers.
Activism on political and economic crimes that have failed to bring justice for 74 years has become a necessity of the age. A group of professionals educated in Sri Lanka and abroad are working for this from abroad ”. As stated in the announcement.
