Due to the long-running illegal activities in Sri Lanka, all social systems have now exploded and the security forces, including the authorities or the state institutions that have been legally established, have become illegal working groups.
As a result, the adult community is committing illegal acts against children as well as young people, and daily reports from the general public as well as from employees of government agencies are becoming illegal. They are exploding every day, hiding under the ashes, re-emerging and hiding again.
Above all else, we see that even in the case of children, the law is enforced according to the power and friendships of people who are friends. According to the information we have received, the Child Protection Authority of Sri Lanka is following a disgraceful course, even in child abuse cases. We responsibly state that they behave like childless adults based on the evidence we have of their actions.
We have received information that the Sri Lanka Police as well as the Weeraketiya Child Protection Authority have not done any of the work that should be done as child responsible government agencies on behalf of the student who was not allowed to go to school for a year at Weeraketiya DA Rajapaksa College. However, the Child Protection Authority officials, the Weeraketiya OIC as well as the teachers and the principal of the school have taken steps to brand the student as a criminal.
We will reveal the details of the incident and the police have made allegations against the child that he was present at the time when the Carlton house in Tangalle was set on fire. But there is no legal provision in the Ceylon Penal Code to make any allegations against him for being there or videotaping from there. However, there are numerous clauses in the Ceylon Penal Code to prosecute the principal and the teachers concerned for the misconduct of that minor student.
The Ceylon Penal Code also clearly states the legal action to be taken against the Weeraketiya OIC who does not enforce the law. Why is the law and the authorities paid by the government for not enforcing the law against the injustice done to a child? But instead, if the perpetrators and the police are going to massacre him, the perpetrators as well as the police officers will have to be punished second to none.
Therefore, all the officers involved in the corrupt activities as well as those responsible for and against the Weeraketiya Police Nissan Prabodhana student, including the Weeraketiya Police and the Divisional Officers in charge, and the officers of the Child Protection Authority will have to struggle only until the water is hot. Until then, the perpetrators will not be able to respond directly to them or do anything about their political influence during that time.
