We have received information that the Sri Lanka Police as well as the Weeraketiya Child Protection Authority have not done any of the work that should be done as child responsible government agencies on behalf of the student who was not allowed to go to school for a year at Weeraketiya DA Rajapaksa College. However, the Child Protection Authority officials, the Weeraketiya OIC as well as the teachers and the principal of the school have taken steps to brand the student as a criminal.

But there is no legal provision in the Ceylon Penal Code to make any allegations against him for being there or videotaping from there.
