According to various reports, the current Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe may step down due to the SLPP’s tendency not to act as promised by Ranil Wickremesinghe.
In particular, the reluctance of a group of PA MPs to remove dual citizenship from the new constitution and various discussions against it are likely to not happen. But the president is willing to remove it. However, various reports state that the President is under pressure not to include the removal of dual citizenship.
It was reported yesterday morning that the Director of the CID – DIG W Tilakaratne had been removed from the post and another transfer had been requested. He was also a former Inspector General of Police (IP) in 2008 and was accused of changing various laws and promoting him and being a close ally of President Mahinda Rajapaksa. He had previously left the CID due to an incident at the embassy and was transferred to another location. However, the decision to withdraw from the investigation into the 9th incident should have been taken at an early stage. It is a wise decision to make that decision too late or too late.
However, by yesterday evening, his letter of transfer had been accepted by the Secretary of the Ministry of Defense. Accordingly, his transfer has already taken effect. Even though the CID is cool, the DIG who is to visit it is also a person suffering from various ailments.
As the country is on fire and Parliament and politics are on fire again and again, the backs of the people of the country have been heating up for years. Even though the people have accused the Rajapaksa family of being thieves, public administration officials are also responsible for this. Even retired public servants are responsible for this devastation if they had fraudulently obtained a penny or more in salary.
