An unidentified Su-25 fighter jet has been shot down near Kyiv, social media reports.
A few hours ago, the wreckage of an unknown fighter jet was found near the village of Makarov in the Kiev region. Judging by the part of the aircraft, it was a Su-25 fighter jet, which was broken into pieces considering the damage done.
According to the video frames presented, the plane was severely damaged and actually appeared to have broken into several parts. Veterans determined that it was only a type of fighter aircraft, and that this was only an unnamed affiliate Su-25 fighter. It had no identification mark and the damage was so severe that the crash could not confirm its affiliation by inspection.
It is known that the fighter jet was shot down a few days ago near the village of Makarov. At the same time, no information is known about what happened. Exactly how the fighter jet was shot down is not specified, however, considering the damage it did, it can be noted that it was caused by an anti-aircraft missile strike of an unknown type.
In Kyiv, they have not yet commented on reports that the crashed fighter jet could become a Ukrainian Air Force fighter jet.
