It is said that about 4000 tourists who came to Sri Lanka from Ukraine are staying in various places in Sri Lanka. The Government led by His Excellency the President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa and the Sri Lankan Ambassadors are working to ensure that the Ukrainians in those locations do everything they can.
It is noteworthy that non-capitalist Sri Lankan citizens are also helping Ukrainians across the country as much as they can.
Meanwhile, we have received information from reliable sources that more than 4,000 Russian troops have been killed in the invasion of Ukraine. Our dear Russian friends also say that 90% of the Russian people do not know that there is a war. Our foreign information network also reports that Ukrainian adults, men and women of Russian descent in Ukraine, are addressing Russian soldiers and warning them not to “kill Ukrainians.”
The unique task of Ukrainians in sending another message to the world is the unity of Ukrainians living abroad when their country is in danger. We have also received information that they are uniting and making plans to repatriate the millions of Ukrainians who are refugees.
It is also reported that Russian troops do not like war and that their reluctance to die has diminished the interest of Russian troops, and that the Ukrainian people stand united for their country and that the world has begun to talk about that unity.
We are grateful to the foreign friends who provided us with this information.
