Today (28) marks the 50th day of the permanent struggle launched by the President and the government to resign due to the mismanagement of public administration or the destruction of the lives of the people by selling the country.
Although the struggle was diluted after Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe became the new Prime Minister, it is now being reorganized. With the end of the GCE Ordinary Level examination, a series of protests will resume across the country. Also, a large crowd is preparing to arrive in Colombo on the 4th of next month. It is also noteworthy that future protests are planned without any political parties.
Neither the political authorities nor the top government officials have been able to formulate a vision for Sri Lanka so far and they are still blaming each other.
In such an environment, Sri Lankans are increasingly angry that the responsible parties are still not doing what they should be doing. It is reported that a number of protests will be held in various parts of the country today as well.
