WON’T THE LAW BE ENFORCED AGAINST OTHER POLICE OFFICERS WHO CAUSE PUBLICE NUISANCE?.

Sri Lanka is currently socially, economically and politically unstable. An anti-government struggle is currently taking place at Galle Face Green. A police officer in uniform arrived at the protest yesterday (14). According to the specific information we received at around 09.00 last night, a police sergeant attached to the Kuttigala Police Station, WM Amaradasa, who had arrived at the protest site yesterday, had been arrested for causing a public disturbance. He was arrested by the Fort police and later sent to the Ports Police last night for further security.

Did he really cause a public uproar? The public unrest did not start yesterday. Construction of hotels in sensitive areas around Sinharaja Reserve, various environmental damages, Pearl Express shipwreck, deforestation communication towers, seizure of public lands, gas explosions, power cuts, fuel shortages, rising commodity prices, farmers Hundreds of people’s old problems can be pointed out. They are all public uproar. Why were the police unable to enforce a law against them? It goes without saying that the reason for this is bad political interference. However, by covering them up, can one officer be accused of causing public nuisance to the extent of being a police officer with a number of offenses? Did he not suffer the persecution we mentioned above? So shouldn’t we be looking for the conspirators who dragged not only him but the entire public into the streets? It should not be forgotten that the relevant government officials are responsible for all the matters mentioned above. It is also not a secret that almost all government officials oppress the people by working for the political parties they belong to. It is also not a secret that there are political slaves in the three forces as well as in the police. It goes without saying that what would happen if other security personnel went to their rallies to represent their political parties, just as the police officer Amaradasa did.

He could be prosecuted on a number of charges, including aiding and abetting a public servant to prevent wrongdoing, but he will be exempted from the law of evidence because of the problem facing the country as a whole. But if all the officials have to behave like that, the country will be unstable. The police press release should have been issued with more substantial social damage. However, the principles of natural justice can be used to prevent other police officers or military personnel from arriving in such uniform. But the reason for all this is that people are suffering. Although his past offenses and this incident are two, the Police Department has been harmed by publicizing the old offenses. According to social media comments, why has a police officer been kept in the police department for so long? How many more such officers are employed in the police? . Social media users are questioning. With the release of that press release, the conversation in the society has taken a different turn than the police thought. Meanwhile, the citizens had offered to provide employment for the police officer.

Our mission is to write critically and verbally explain the scientific and spiritual knowledge as well as the various strategies needed to properly build society. We have recently leveled various allegations against the Udawalawe OIC. One of the main reasons is that a complaint against a construction on an old temple has not been properly investigated and the law has not been enforced. It is an archeological site. In addition, it was revealed that he was assisting in the acquisition of lands which was done illegally. The public pressure caused by such support spread to a mass agitation and the people engaged in a massive agitation blocking the road from the Sankapala area in Embilipitiya. But has a law been enacted against the OIC so far? Not as far as we know. The arrest of an officer can only be viewed from different angles if he speaks in public, but according to the law, it should be resolved with the current situation in the country. It was America that killed one right white man to subdue others in the black and white struggle. Applying that to this incident is something that not only the other police officers but also the Armed Forces need to do to think independently. But they also have the right to freedom of speech and expression enshrined in the Constitution. They should not be damaged either. The law must be enforced against all police officers who commit similar offenses. Police officers should be regularly instructed to enforce the existing law of the land in the interests of all. If this is done, the people will be able to live happily without any disturbances or persecution.
