The government of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa or the People’s Alliance (PA), which came to power by gaining a special power or nearly two-thirds of the seats in the Parliament of Sri Lanka by the votes of the people of Sri Lanka, destroyed the very existence of the people by turning the land of Sri Lanka into a football field with the people.
The extent of the devastation was such that they turned violence into violence in Sri Lanka and turned the whole of Sri Lanka into a fire pit.
The President invited all the leaders of the political parties to accept the challenge of rebuilding the country, but they accepted the request of the Member of Parliament Ranil Wickremesinghe to accept the post of Prime Minister 36 hours ago.
At the same time, opposition political parties have already begun to oppose him, and lawyer Nagananda Kodithuwakku has declared the appointment illegal. Nagananda Kodithuwakku has stated that the complaint filed in 2021 challenging Ranil Wickremesinghe’s parliamentary seat has not been heard yet and that legal action will be taken against Ranil Wickremesinghe in a few days’ time.
