Hundreds of thousands of people have been affected by the current problems in Sri Lanka. It is clear that all the existing problems can be solved in a few months, but the rulers of the country have no interest in it. As they fight for power, oppressed people suffer for days in the sun queuing on the streets, drenched in rain, starving, and without fuel on the ground.
More than 85% of private buses are currently in the fuel queue. SLTB buses run as much as possible. However, it is reported that a large number of SLTB buses have to be taken out of service as they do not have tires at present. It is reported that one tire of a bus costs around one and a half lakhs and four tires cost around 600,000.
With the breakdown of all public transport, the entire system is stuck and we also have a problem with whether the government wants it or not. After all, when there is no food in the stomachs of people, the lives of people who die of starvation will go up. As a government, all rulers are responsible for this, but they are not punished. But they will not be able to escape the punishments of nature.
