There is a clear increase in the number of Kovid infected children being treated at the Lady Ridgeway Children’s Hospital in Colombo, said the Director of the hospital, Dr. G. Wijesuriya.
In the last few days, only 7 children infected with Kovid have been treated at the hospital and the number of children infected with Kovid has risen to 35.
Specialist Dr. G. Wijesuriya said that Kovid had also infected several staff members at the hospital.
