The Sri Lanka women’s cricket team arrived in Zimbabwe recently to participate in the Women’s World Cup qualifiers.
However, seven players of the Sri Lanka women’s cricket team have been infected with Kovid and discussions are underway to bring the team back to the island, the SLC said.
Its Chief Executive Officer Ashley de Silva stated that the relevant discussions are being held between the International Cricket Council and a decision will be taken by this afternoon (28).
