It is reported that the Ministry of Public Security announced that nine brokers were arrested today (19) by the Police Intelligence Department who took money to prepare passports from people coming to get services from the Immigration Department.
The ministry has further mentioned that these suspects are people who take money from people and prepare passports illegally.
Also yesterday (18) Minister of Public Security Tiran Alas ordered the intelligence agencies to immediately investigate the people taking money like this, and accordingly, in an operation that was launched this morning (19), the nine suspects who took money from people like this have been arrested.
He further mentioned that this operation will continue and that other officials who are working with the fraudsters will also be investigated.
