According to foreign media reports, six people were arrested along with a stockpile of fake currency of one billion dollars, which was prepared to be sent from Turkey to Africa, in a warehouse in the capital city of Istanbul in a raid conducted by the Turkish security forces.
It is said that this is the largest collection of fake currency found in the history of Turkey.
Among these suspects, there were three Swedes and a Ghanaian and the foreign media has further mentioned that the property of those arrested has been confiscated and their respective countries have been informed about the foreigners.
