It is reported that a proposal to limit the tenure of the officer who becomes the Inspector General of Police to a maximum of three years is to be submitted to the Cabinet.
Accordingly, it is stated that if the officer appointed to the post of Inspector General does not complete 60 years of service, the above decision will apply to that officer.
According to this decision taken by the Council of Ministers, the service period of any officer appointed as Inspector General of Police will be limited to a maximum of 3 years.
