The Department of Railways has announced that a new train service has started between Thalaimannarama Port and Colombo Fort.
Accordingly, it is reported that this train which departs from Thalaimannarama port station at 4.15 am and reaches Fort station at 10.34 am and leaves Fort at 3.35 pm and reaches Thalaimannaram station at 10.48 pm.
An official of the Railway Department has stated that this train will consist of two air-conditioned first class carriages, two second class reserved seat carriages and second and third class ordinary carriages.
