It is reported that a person was arrested last night (18) with a liter of illegal liquor and a set of equipment at Samagi Mawatha, Ragama in a raid conducted by the Ragama Police.
It is said that 67 liters and 500 ml of illegal liquor and equipment used for filtering were found in the suspect’s possession.
It is reported that the suspect is a 36-year-old resident of Kumbula Canal area and he is going to be produced before the Welisara Magistrate’s Court today (19).
