Under the theme “Let’s create a healthy country”, a political organization was started yesterday (03) at Sri Dalada Maliga, Mahnuwara, under the leadership of former Eastern Governor Mrs. Anuradha Yahampath.
Mrs. Anuradha Yahampath stated that this organization is being started with the aim of aligning the people in the matters of national security, economic development, sustainable development, environmental protection and social empowerment.
The activists of that organization engaged in religious rituals at the Sri Dalada Palace and then read their manifesto near Patthirippuwa and gave a pledge.
After that Mrs. Anuradha Yahampath and the group went to the Asgiri Maha Viharashan and met the Mahanayake of the Asgiri group, Most Reverend Varakagoda Gnanarathana, and presented the pledge to him.
