The Minister of Education said that some amendment should be made in the gazette issued in relation to the recruitment of the 2021 faculty batch.
Today (20) it is reported that Rohini Kaviratne said this while answering a question in the parliament.
Accordingly, the minister mentioned that the gazette announcement will be issued in the next two weeks immediately after the amendment is made.
The minister who commented further,
“7,400 2019 and 2020 candidates have been notified on the website so far. They have been registered for the 19 faculties. After the examination of the second year students, the Uttarapatra survey will be conducted. As soon as it is completed, all arrangements will be made to admit all these people to the 19 faculties by the beginning of October. It has been prepared. There are two groups in the teacher education service. The secretary has discussed with them and reached a principled decision. The other group is now working to release the gazette of 2021. The subjects were recruited based on the data of the previously released gazettes 3 years ago. According to categories. This is not correct. Therefore, some revision has to be done in the gazette notification. The gazette notification will be issued in the next two weeks.”
