On the first evening last evening, a lorry running on the Arachchikattuwa-Vairankattuwa road had spread dust by a candidate for the Samagi Janabalawey local government election for the Arachchikattuwa local council and another person attacked the driver of the lorry and according to his complaint to the Arachchikattuwa police, the suspect was arrested. It is reported that it was taken.
The lorry driver is a resident of Anavilundawa, Nalladarankattuwa area and the arrested suspect is a 24-year-old resident of Arachchikattuwa-Vairankakattuwa area.
It is reported that the suspect is going to be produced before the Halawata Magistrate Court.
