It is reported that the Kahathuduwa police have said that a gang of five broke into the Diyagama Cooperative Malshala in Kahathuduwa and attacked an employee with sharp weapons and fled.
The attack killed Y.G. The employee named Nilantha was injured and admitted to Homagama Base Hospital.
It is said that while the flower shop worker was preparing the inside of a box for burying a dead body, the people who broke into the place cut the worker’s chest, stomach and near the eye with a paper cutter and ran away.
The injured worker fell to the ground with bleeding wounds and was writhing in pain and was rushed to hospital by the manager.
