Joining an international press conference in Paris ahead of attending the New Global Financial Compact, the United States plans to push for full and prompt participation in debt negotiations by all creditors and debt relief in line with the financial guarantees offered by Sri Lanka and Ghana. It is reported that US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said.
She has further mentioned that the international community should come together to support the countries that are currently in crisis, and that the progress achieved by Sri Lanka and Ghana is satisfactory, and that America is encouraged by this.
