It is reported that a settlement week has been announced from today (02) on the occasion of World Settlement Day.
The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing has stated that this year World Habitat Day will be celebrated under the theme of “A safe urban economy” and many programs have been planned to be implemented simultaneously.
Accordingly, a settlement week has been declared and house title deeds are to be awarded to 500 beneficiaries during that week.
Apart from that, the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing has also planned to implement a program of giving house title deeds at the district level and the ministry has further stated that the minister in charge has given instructions to the officials to finish this program of giving title deeds within the next one year.
