It is reported that the engine of the night mail train running to Badulla has been derailed due to a tree falling on the railway line between Watagoda and Talawakele.
It is said that due to this, the train traffic on the upland route has been disrupted.
Also, the Deputy General Manager of the Railway Department, Mr. M.J. Idipolage, has stated that buses have been deployed for the convenience of passengers.
