It is reported that the Cabinet has approved the simplification of the visa system currently being implemented by the Department of Immigration, taking into account the existing complexities of the visa categories issued under the two types of arrival and residence visas.
In this regard, Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Bandula Gunawardena said that approval was given to prepare the visa system in this country taking into consideration the visa systems in place in countries with more foreign attractions.
