The political party representing Sri Lanka’s opposition leader is Samagi Jana Balawega. The party is currently the second largest party in Sri Lanka. Dr. HMM Rumi, the former chairman of the State Pharmaceutical Legal Corporation, who provided intellectual leadership to the political leadership of Sri Lanka, has been appointed to the working committee of the party. The appointment was made by the opposition leader Mr. Sajith Premadasa.
He became the chairman of the State Pharmaceutical Legal Corporation and contributed to making many revolutionary changes in it. As a manager, as well as a skilled administrator, he put his skills into practice during that period and made a leading contribution to make the State Pharmaceutical Legal Corporation profitable.
He has a doctorate degree in computer technology from the National University of Technology of Ukraine, who made a unique contribution to increasing the salaries of the employees of the State Pharmaceutical Legal Corporation as well as making the process of providing medicines to the people more efficient.
He has given his intellectual contribution in political leadership and is also known to be a brilliant organizer.
