It is reported that the Peliyagoda headquarters police have said that they have arrested 4 people including the driver who drove a car under the influence of alcohol and hit two motorcycles at Kelaniya Thorana Junction area in Wattala Hekitta area.
The police said that the four friends including the driver had attended a wedding ceremony and were traveling home in a drunken state.
The police said that when the police arrested the car that escaped later in the Hekitta area of Wattala, the driver and the four occupants of the car were drunk.
It is said that a woman traveling on a motorcycle was injured in the accident and was admitted to Ragama Hospital.
