According to the information received by the Mannar police, four suspects who were digging for treasures in an ancient place in Tarapuram area of Mannar were arrested with a modern ground scanner.
It is said that these suspects have checked the rocks and metallic materials in the area using the scanner and dug for treasure.
It is reported that the concerned suspects are between 35 and 46 years old residing in Kelaniya, Valmilla and Kekirawa areas.
