Prasanna Liyanaarachchi, the chief vice president of the Sri Lankan United Forum, who commented on the country’s businesses, said that all the businesses in the country have now become bankrupt. He accused the government of how the government will pay the expected tax money when the country’s manufacturing economy collapses and the country does not get any income. He further said that the decisions of the country should be taken to maintain the country and not to destroy the country. He stated that the government expects to receive a tax amount of 92,200 crore rupees in the year 2023 than last year. He said that it is not possible to pay these high tax amounts and a reasonable rate for taxes should be announced.
And they said that entrepreneurs should build a suitable system of rules and regulations to be able to carry out business, prepare a suitable work system to be able to pay debts and publish a fair tax rate. Also, they finally stated that every decision made in a country affects the people. .
