It was the political authority of Sri Lanka in this country that created a public service that has no knowledge about the problems of the people, and does not have the heart to think or feel about the sufferings of the people. That political authority was appointed by the people of this country. The heartless rulers who were appointed for the sake of public service gave their people a miserable life instead of happiness.
The current government has been formed by the parliamentarians who were elected to the parliament under the leadership of Mr. Gotabhaya Rajapaksa, who did not see the side of the people of such a country. But they are still unable to provide the necessary services for the people of this country.
Last week, there was a controversy over the re-increase in the electricity bill. Even in the face of people’s protests, Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said that he will increase the electricity bill no matter who opposes it. Accordingly, instead of the cabinet paper that was to be presented today (09) to increase the electricity bill, a formula for increasing the electricity price has been presented. Cabinet approval has been received for that.
It seems that the electricity bill is increased through the formula, or eating from the horn. As a result, the country will fall further and it will be difficult to maintain small and large-scale factories. Many more will lose their jobs.
