It is reported that a laboratory owner in the United States has been arrested in connection with a genetic test fraud worth about 463 million US dollars by conducting unnecessary genetic tests and laboratory tests for patients.
It is said that this 44-year-old suspect of Indian origin has committed the related fraud since 2016 by working as a patient broker with a telemedicine company and call centers and adding it to the expensive genetic testing package.
