It is reported that 1,024 suspects have been arrested in the raids carried out from yesterday (16) to the early hours of today (17) under the nationwide Justice Police operation.
The police say that further investigations are being conducted on the detention orders regarding 13 suspects.
Also, it is said that 8 drug addicts have been sent to rehabilitation centers.
The Police Narcotics Bureau and the Special Task Force have arrested 45 suspects who were on the list of registered suspects in this operation.
Also, 325 suspects who were on the list forwarded to crime branch station commanders have been arrested.
Among those suspects, there are 92 suspects who have been issued open warrants for toxic drug offences, 211 suspects who have been issued open warrants for other non-toxic drug offences, 11 suspects who have been identified through fingerprints and have not been arrested so far and suspects wanted for juvenile crimes. 11 people have been arrested by the crime branch.
