President Ranil Wickramasinghe as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policy has requested Cabinet approval to take necessary action based on the recommendations of the expert committee appointed to manufacture Triloka Wijaya Patra Hemp-based products for export only, and for that the Department of Ayurveda and Sri Lanka Investments It is reported that the board is going to implement the programs together.
For this purpose, it is stated that the Department of Ayurveda will be assigned to provide technical guidelines and prepare a regulatory framework for the cultivation of the Triloka Vijaya Patra crop and related products in accordance with the existing rules.
Also, the work of reaching an agreement with the investors, including conducting a feasibility study for export, deciding the investment plan and preparing the implementation time frame, is assigned to the Sri Lanka Board of Investment, and investments in a land under the Sri Lanka Board of Investment or if there is no such land, a land owned by the government. It is also reported that the government has taken steps to provide the necessary facilities for the cultivation of the Triloka Vijaya Patra, entrusted to the Mandala.
