Employees of the Central Post Exchange have reportedly started a token strike.
Chintaka Bandara, co-convener of the United Postal Trade Union Front, said that the strike was started against the non-renewal of the two elevators, which are out of order in the 8-storey building.
He said that more than 3000 people use the building daily.
