It is reported that today (11) marks 22 years since the September 11 attacks on the cities of New York and Washington, USA, killing 2,977 people.
On this day (11th) of 2001, 19 suicide bombers of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization hijacked 4 passenger transport planes belonging to the United States of America.
Using drones as massive missiles, suicide attacks were made on the World Trade Center building in New York, USA, as well as the Pentagon, the headquarters building of the US National Defense Department. Al-Qaeda terrorists had intended to crash one of the hijacked planes into the Capitol building in Washington, but their purpose was thwarted when the plane in question crashed into a field in Pennsylvania.
