It is reported that Reverend Valahanguna Vewe Dhammarathana Thero, the head of Mihintala Raja Maha Vihara, has declared that the world’s best old people’s home is the parliament in Diwawanna Oya.
He further commented,
” There are all adults in it. There are no children. Everything they do is broadcast live.
So they go to the Supreme Parliament and talk about buffalo, caravalaya, owl, Hikanala, Kalavedda, Gallibower…
We, who sent them to the parliament, should also be held accountable for all this.
