The fate of the untouched three-wheel man.

From today, only 5 liters of petrol per week will be available for three-wheelers through the QR code.
They have to hire 7 days of that 5 liters.
Let’s imagine that his children’s schoolwork costs a liter for his family’s personal travel.
If so, they earn and eat 4 liters.

Due to the current crisis of living and high prices, a person should get a salary of at least Rs.2500 per day.
If so, he who drives the three-wheeler should find Rs. 2500 for seven of those 4 liters.
That is Rs. 17500 per week.
If so, he should earn at least Rs. 4375 per liter per week.
It costs him Rs.450 to buy a liter of petrol.
So to cover the day he has to earn Rs.4825 from one litre.

Generally, three-wheelers in Sri Lanka can run only 25-30 km per liter.

Let’s take it as an average of 28 km per liter.
Then he has to charge Rs.172 per kilometer to find Rs.4825 per litre.

In that case, he should get an amount of Rs.344 to go one kilometer.

Because after leaving a passenger a kilometer away, he has another kilometer to come back to the park…

Passengers will not get into three-wheelers to hire at this high cost.

But they will blame the three-wheeler drivers for charging so much for the hire.

Don’t blame the three wheeler drivers without knowing the reality.
They earn to save their children and family from hunger.

For that they should get a fair salary.
Imagine if they could get that in 5 litres.
It must be said that it is a very unfair quota.

It is true that some of the three-wheeler drivers sell petrol at a higher price these days.

But the majority of people are extremely distressed in the face of this severe fuel price and scarcity.

Because of the 5-liter Kota, they will be even more difficult.
In the future, they will resort to unethical jobs beyond selling oil at higher prices.

Although they have been accused of storing and selling oil for the past time, what will they do when they don’t have the luxury to support their children and families like the rich?

Today, it has become a great puzzle how the future of the country’s youth will be written in a country where many of the youth are looking for life on three wheels.

Even if the youths are suffering from unemployment without jobs, even if they resort to this type of work, nowadays due to the fuel crisis, it is difficult for them to do the same job.

Lakhs of people who depended on a job that they had been enjoying for a long time without anyone touching it, have been made extremely miserable and have been made even more miserable from today.

Think twice before blaming a three wheeler driver. That’s why this article is written with data and statistics for those people..

Only you and us, the people of their own class, know their sorrows and pains. However, our only wish is to provide some relief to these people who are fighting for their lives in the tricycles who are suffering in the face of this crisis.
