It is reported that the Ministry of Health has decided to send the suspended Colombo forensic medical officer Mr. Ruhul Haque on compulsory leave and it is reported that the steps to send him on compulsory leave effective from the 17th are based on the recommendations of the Public Service Commission.
Dr. Ruhul Haque was under suspension and he had conducted the post-mortem examinations of prominent businessman Mr. Dinesh Shafter and the child who died after a kidney operation at Ridgeway Arya Children’s Hospital.
