President Ranil Wickremesinghe has never put the people of the country in trouble for his personal nationalistic ambitions, said UNP Chairman, Member of Parliament Mr. Vajira Abiveardhana.
Mr. Abeywardena said that no matter how difficult it is, the President will always do the right thing for the public.
Mr. Abeywardena emphasized that those who cannot wait to recover the fallen country and move the country on the right path will criticize and try to sabotage the President’s program and the entire public of the country should be careful about it.
Mr. Vajira Abeywardena expressed these views while addressing the United National Party committee meetings held in Theldeniya and Ududumbara constituencies in Kandy district.
The United National Party is currently establishing new constituencies all over the island and it is expected to establish about 150 new constituencies by the end of this month, after which party leader Ranil Wickramasinghe President will call a party conference in August and change the constitution of the party to suit the new world. The UNP chairman said.
