The protest that began yesterday (09) morning around the Galle Face Green in Colombo and near the Presidential Secretariat demanding a solution to the crisis in Sri Lanka is continuing.
Protesters were still stationed around Galle Road. According to information we received from outside, people who were unable to attend yesterday are expected to attend today. Also, according to the information received, they are scheduled to stay there in the coming New Year.
Due to the protest, several roadblocks were blocked using the Galle Face. Organized by social activists, the protest is being attended by people from various parts of the country.
The protesters are demanding an end to the current reckless rule and the immediate resignation of all members of parliament and ministers, including the president.
