A 29-year-old man has been stabbed to death in an altercation at a fuel queue in the Grandpass area in Colombo, police said.
The incident took place at the Horagolla petrol station in Nittambuwa. It is reported that this was due to an assault with a sharp weapon and it is suspected that the murder was also committed by a three wheeler driver.
This is the third death in Sri Lanka at a fuel queue, with two deaths in Kadawatha yesterday and in Kandy the day before.
